Eggs 325: Conquering fear to build better teams and scale with Kurt Uhlir

Welcome to Eggs! the Podcast, featuring the best and brightest minds in business leadership, entrepreneurship, and technology. Today's guest is Kurt Uhlir, a leading product visionary and expert on the speed of change in technology, who has traveled coast-to-coast advising high-growth companies on how to thrive in the age of disruption.

Kurt's non-linear career path started when his father brought home an Apple IIgs, which led him to become an early hacker and hustler. He founded several businesses during high school and college, including Clear Vision, which generated thousands of dollars of free cash flow every month. Kurt then joined NAVTEQ, where he stayed for 10+ years, through their successful $880M IPO in 2004 and ultimate $8.1B sale to Nokia in 2008. He left as the lead inventor on 13 US and International patents, which have been licensed by companies such as Google, Facebook, and many others, an accredited investor in dozens of startups, a successful founder in several outside ventures, and a known business leader across multiple industries.

Join us for the conversation as we chat with Kurt about his diverse experiences and insights on disruptive technology, scaling companies, and building teams. All that and more on this episode of Eggs, the Podcast.
